ToutApp is looking for a Sales Operations Business Analyst who wants to jump in head-first and help build a startup experiencing explosive growth. This role will be an important member of our Sales Operations team, which is critical to the overall productivity and scale of our business. You will work with multiple stakeholders to define and deliver insightful metrics, analyses and forecasts. 

The Sales Operations Business Analyst will perform all assigned functions in sales operations pertaining to sales reporting and analysis, forecasting, modeling, financial reporting, systems functionality and sales administrative functions, as well as ad hoc analysis as required. The successful candidate will possess keen strategic thinking plus analytical abilities with strong communication and project management skills to maximize the efficiency and performance of ToutApp’s sales organization. 

Job Description

Responsibilities/ What You'll Do:

  • Perform budgeting, planning and analysis activities for Sales Operations
  • Own and manage key elements of sales operations such as sales planning, forecasting, territory design & management, sales performance reporting, analytics and relationships with business partners
  • Deliver earnings, sales, and performance insights and analytics
  • Key liaison to Accounting and Finance regarding bookings and revenue. Certify and report monthly bookings numbers
  • Resolve commission questions and issues for Sales
  • Elicit requirements using interviews, group facilitation, prototyping, data analysis, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis and workflow analysis 
  • Translate the business requirements and business rules into source to target data mappings
  • Establish strong working relationships with business operations, finance, sales management and systems team to achieve above objectives without management involvement
  • Gain management confidence in work such that the insights you produce are utilized in executive and board level presentations
  • Develop and manage your own team, with a focus of hiring only A-players and mentoring the team to achieve their full potential
  • Complete 10-20 decision-driving projects for our executives, including, but not limited to the following topics:
  1. Dashboards/ KPIs
  2. Territory optimization 
  3. Sales incentive design
  4. Process optimization
  5.  Account coverage model
  6. Forecast modeling
  7. New market expansion

Qualifications

Requirements/ What We're Looking For:

  • 4+ years in Sales Strategy and Operations, Business Analytics, Business Operations at a SaaS/CRM business or Management Consulting or Investment Banking
  • BA/MBA, Economics, Finance and/or Business or BS in an analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or Statistics) from a top academic institution
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with deep interest and experience in analyzing data and the ability to see beyond the numbers to drive sound decision-making
  • Intermediate to Advanced MS-Excel based modeling skills. SQL is a plus
  • Familiarity and working knowledge of SalesForce.com platform
  • Good oral and written communication skills with experience working with and presenting to senior management
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience working in high-growth, performance focused environments
