The Nurse Assistant is responsible for performing duties related to assisting the nurses in providing care for patients. Duties also include inventory management; stocking of medical, office, and linen/uniform supplies. The Nurse Assistant is under the direction of the Manager and may be instructed by a Registered Nurse, Surgical Technician and Material Manager. The Nurse Assistant is an integral part of the team and is responsible for maintaining optimal patient care and assistance to their team.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Demonstrate competency to perform multiple tasks that assist in daily operation

2. Knowledge of performing vital signs and rooming patients.

3. Demonstrates competency in nurse assisting within the scope of practice 

4. Show friendliness and courtesy with other staff, physicians, vendors in person and phone conversations 

5. Respect privacy and preserve dignity in all patient areas 

6. Always observes patient/company confidentiality

7. Organizes and plan out daily cases that incorporates physician specific equipment/instrumentation:

      A. Prioritized

      B. Timely

      C. Work as a team 

8. Completes all tasks in a timely fashion

• Current CNA 
• 6 months previous experience in a nurse assistant or EMT.
• Experience in surgery center or hospital preferred
