IKEA Range & Supply has the responsibility to develop, design, produce and supply IKEA stores with home furnishing solutions available to the many people. Each year IKEA Range & Supply introduces 2,000 new products in the IKEA stores. The total range is almost 10,000 products.

As Project Leader Sustainable Development, Range and Supply, you will lead prioritised pre-studies and projects from a sustainability perspective to deliver workable solutions into the business. In all projects you will work closely together with the business areas and supplying as well as with external stakeholders and experts. 

Job Description

A member of the Range & Supply Sustainabililty support function, you will lead projects mainly connected to IKEAs sustainability strategy which may include materials, responsible sourcing, water, air, sustainable consumption and more that span across Range & Supply involving many stakeholders within the categories and business areas. Having developed clear direction and positions within certain topics, you will be the competence support for the organisation.   

Your main responsibilities:
- Lead projects at Range & Supply connected to sustainability 
- Create and manage project plans, ensure the project progresses according to plan and within scope
- Lead and manage change 
- Procurement and contract management related to projects 
- Manage evaluation and handover of project results to business
- Assure the execution of project related change management activities

Qualifications

As a person you are able to lead and drive areas of responsibility on your own, or through others. You are analytical when it comes to evaluating different aspects of an issue and make fact based decisions. You enjoy being the spider in the web between different stakeholders within the organization, leading business and people together. It is preferable if you have a good knowledge of product development &/or supply chain in addition to sustainability knowledge.

•    Goal oriented and businessminded.
•    Knowledge and experience connected to sustainability.
•    Skilled in communicating and working together with co-workers across all levels of the organisation.
•    A structured approach in analysis and development of solutions.
•    Ability to prioritize and take decisions.

It is a permanent and full time position. You will be based at IKEA of Sweden and report to Caroline Reid, Project Manager Sustainable Development.
