Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Agent

Niehaus Insurance Services Ltd is seeking a sales-minded experienced individual to join our team as a Licensed Property & Casualty Agent. This position solicits and services insurance products and services that are aligned with and meet the needs of current and prospective clients. The Licensed Property & Casualty Agent builds strong positive relationships to ensure both growth and retention in the agency. Job Responsibilities:

• Meet new business production goals and objectives by determining needs and soliciting insurance products from individuals and small business owners.
• Interview prospective clients to build rapport and gather information about their insurance needs, including existing coverage and provide thoughtful and customized solutions to meet client’s needs, ensuring proper follow-up.
• Complete insurance reviews on designated clients according to agency guidelines.
• Actively train and improve sales and product knowledge. Attend meetings, webinars, seminars, and programs to learn about new products and services, and learn new skills.

To be a preferable candidate, you are/have:

• Experience delivering client-focused solutions and in creating long-lasting relationships
• Property and Casualty (P&C) license.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher highly preferred.
• 2+ years of prior experience as a Licensed P&C Agent is required. Experience in independent agency environment or with multiple carriers is preferred.
• Strong PC skills, including Outlook, Word & Excel.
• Agency Management System experience is a plus..
