Modlich Monument Company, a full-service monument company is seeking a Memorial Specialist / Branch Manager. You will be responsible for developing relationships within the industry as well as managing and directing retail store operations. The Memorial Specialist/Branch Manager manages day to day retail store operations including order tracking, customer service, and maintaining displays of merchandise.

Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and execute targeted marketing initiatives
• Engage and follow-up with all potential clients from initial point of contact to completion
• Actively engage in community organizations
• Create and maintain an ongoing business relationship with cemeteries and funeral homes in your coverage area
• Complete daily operational tasks from point of sale through order fulfillment
• Review all active orders a minimum of weekly to ensure that they are progressing smoothly through production
• Follow-up with customers as necessary
• Follow-up with cemeteries as necessary
• Follow-up with production team as necessary
•  Other projects and tasks as assigned

To be a great fit for us, you are/have:

•  High school graduate, college degree preferred
• Minimum of three years of experience in an outside sales or retail sales position
• Familiarity with retail sales, and the competitive sales environment
• Basic Computer Skills including – file operations, Excel, Word, email, and web applications
• Very strong organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and public relations skills
• Excellent sales abilities
• Exceptional problem-solving skills

Compensation and Benefits

This is a salaried position with commission. Health Insurance is available with the company paying a portion of the individual’s premium. Employees have the opportunity to participate in the company’s Simple IRA.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. This position is physically located in central Ohio and no relocation is offered.
