ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Maintain patient records confidentially.
• Contributes to the success of the physician’s office practice.
  
• Follows all written protocols and procedures of the clinic.
• Demonstrates courtesy and helpfulness toward patients and their families.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for taking x-rays following established
  procedures.
• Instruct patients regarding procedures.
• Follow prescribed safety standards in operating radiologic equipment.
• Select length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on
  individual patient basis.
• Develop and process radiologic film and examine film for properties such as
  definition, magnification and discoloration.
• Maintain examination rooms. Stock necessary medical and radiologic
  supplies.
  

EDUCATION:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Completion of an accredited Radiology Program

CERTIFICATION/LICENSURE:

• National registration with the American Registry of Radiology Technologist.
  (AART)
•  Illinois State registration in Illinois.

EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one-year experience in Radiology.
