Our client is a global company specialized in the design and production of fragrances.

They are looking for their Fragrance Analyst - GCMS Specialist to be based in Singapore.

• To characterize and match fragrances from different market products in fine fragrance, personal care & household, mainly for whole Asian Market
• To work on GC/MS full reconstitution
• To lead analytical schema projects and exchange of results with perfumers
• To support GC/MS & SFE instrumentation: running of GC/MS laboratory, instrument maintenance for result reliability
• To collaborate closely with R&D for new fragrance’s extraction method development
• To collaborate with R&D for the characterization of competitor new captive compounds
• To keep close interaction with internal departments as Design, Fragrance Development, Compounding, Applications, Stabilities & Regulatory

• University Degree in Chemistry (with Analytics specialization is a plus)
• Fluency in English
• Proven experience in GCMS analysis, from ChemStation or other data processing software’s
• Previous experience working in a similar position in the Fragrance Industry as Perfume Analyst
• Knowledge of raw materials used in the fragrance industry (synthetic & natural)
• Knowledge of extraction techniques will be appreciated
• Exposure working within international teams is very much appreciated for this position
• Able to work under tight deadlines 
• Someone flexible, methodical and with attention to detail
• Experience establishing collaborative relationships and projects within multidisciplinary teams
• Good skills to present technical data
