Our client, a leading Gas Producing and Retailing Company in Singapore, is looking for an Communications & PR Assistant Manager to join the team. 

The candidate must be a self-starter and a motivated and independent professional who is capable of driving and executing communications programmes to support key projects.

Someone able to develop and implement communications strategies and messaging that protect and enhance the company's image and reputation.

Working with some of the brightest minds in the industry, the manager will be involved in various external stakeholder relations and must be a confident communicator who is able to articulate opinions, identify opportunities and anticipate issues.

He or she will manage multiple agency delivery and day to day relationships, budget, and content development for corporate videos, website and other collaterals.

It will be great if the manager is bilingual and has strong organisational skills.

A keen eye for details is an uncompromising requisite!

Job Description

The Communication & PR Assistant Manager will collaborate with the relevant agencies to handle all aspects of corporate communications and public relations (PR), which include:

  • Formulate and develop communication and PR strategies and activities to engage public, press and media in the project objectives
  • Formulate, develop, initiate and write advertisement scripts and media contents 
  • Develop and write collaterals, banners, flyers, etc
  • Work with PR agencies to front and handle public enquiries, press and media
  • Initiate, plan and execute media events and roadshows
  • Formulate and develop website marketing content
  • Oversee the overall communications output within the company such as newsletter, brochures, information for press releases and any other publications
  • Prepare annual budget estimates and monitor and control expenditures
  • Able to identify opportunities and anticipate issues
  • Manage multiple agency delivery and day-today relationships

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Business/ Marketing/ Mass Communications or related field
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation & communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail
  • Able to liaise with internal and external parties & agencies and other stakeholders at all levels
  • Capable of transforming strategies to executable plans
