Our client, a Japanese Technology company is looking to hire a Field Service Engineer - Medical Equipment, based in Singapore.



Job Description

The goal of the Service Engineer is to provide exceptional equipment repair and customer support services for their clients. Working within a healthcare setting, this position completes repair service work, and preventative maintenance on equipment in accordance with established policies and procedures.

To be successful in this position specifically, the selected individual must have a high level of work ethic, self-motivation and the ability to be flexible while managing shifting priorities as this position works with a high degree of autonomy and provides a high level of customer service.

  • Installs and service/repairs Medical Imaging equipments, such as x-ray machine, computed radiography scanner, medical images printer, and medical information system. Consults with customer or supervisor to plan layout of equipment during each new installation.
  • Studies blueprints, schematics, manuals, and other specifications to determine installation procedures.
  • Able to interpret schematics and wiring diagrams to repair equipment. Hands-on technical skills and using standard test instruments and hand tools.
  • Installs or oversees installation of equipments according to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Provide basic user training for equipment installed.
  • Advice management regarding customer satisfaction, product performance, suggestions for product improvements

Qualifications

  • Degree/ Diploma in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics or equivalent
  • Experience in medical equipment
  • Experience in handling X-Ray machine would be an added advantage
  • Good working attitude and flexible
  • Good communication skills
  • Innovative and with determination to handle problem through to the solution end
  • Able to work independently as well as a team
  • Able to start work immediately
