Job Description

The Corporate Copywriter will assist in the creation of marketing assets which clearly communicate the Spear Philosophy and our product offerings to customers and prospects. Support the customer success and customer acquisition teams to achieve 3,600 new subscribers and a global retention rate of 85%+.

Role Overview

Drive Spear messaging throughout marketing elements to maintain brand consistency to current subscribers and prospective subscribers:

  • Maintain brand copy style guide 
  • Become the subject matter expert on Spear and cerecdoctors.com products and offerings
  • Articulate the product value, integrating with current products and the overarching Spear Philosophy

Researches, writes, edits and proofs a range of content to support marketing projects/activities:

  • Research and document supporting stats/information for infographics, white papers, articles, etc.
  • Interview clinicians on-site to ensure positioning of marketing assets is geared towards our target audience
  • Edit and proof assets from outside stakeholders

Support Director of Marketing Production to achieve overall marketing goals, timelines and strategy when necessary:

  • Collaborate with production team to execute marketing plans with quality, speed and efficiency in mind
  • Implement processes and contribute to improved workflows to increase efficiencies across marketing production
  • Work cross-functionally with copywriters of various teams to ensure alignment



Qualifications

  • 1–2 years’ experience in copywriting (adult learning, training manuals, and process copywriting preferred) and a Bachelor’s degree in English, marketing, communications or journalism preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Proven ability to write effective, clear and effective copy
  • Proven attention to detail
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks, prioritize and meet deadlines
  • Openness to change
  • Ability to synthesize information from a variety of sources to develop well-researched, sound solutions to problems
  • Fondness for a collaborative work environment, self-directed work time, and directives to enjoy the process
