Job Description

This role presents a unique opportunity to bring your knowledge of digital media, creativity and insightfulness to assist some marquee brands in meeting their goals. Using your experience and enthusiastic approach to teamwork, you will supervise a team of Specialists and Strategists in researching, planning and executing integrated digital media campaigns that inspire and convert.  This role will have access to a wealth of information in driving the success of the digital marketing efforts across a wide variety of client industries, channels and audiences.  As a member of the digital media team at LaneTerralever, you will have the incredible opportunity to meaningfully and positively impact the businesses of our clients.

What you’ll do:

  • Help set goals and provide oversight ensuring digital campaigns of all types are strategically sound and deliver on objectives
  • Direct hands-on and supervision of digital media campaigns across search, display (including programmatic purchases), and paid social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Google Ads, The Trade Desk and many more
  • Design, plan and execute conversion-optimized tests (largely A/B with some multivariate) across platforms, messaging, creative and offers
  • Work with Data Analytics and Account teams to report on client performance wins and assess regular performance
  • Develop and manage timelines and deliverables
  • Be a role model for the team, providing advocacy and empathy for clients’ needs and pressures
  • Collaborate with Analytics team to provide useful and insightful reporting
  • Manage existing and research new vendor/publisher resources and relationships
  • Meet with clients to review performance, provide thoughtful insights/recommendations, answer questions and goal-set for future cycles
  • Support Director of Digital Media with new business research and strategy, client relationship management, and direct supervision of the team

Qualifications

What you’ll need to bring:

  • 4+ years of experience with digital media publishers and platforms
  • Knowledge and experience working with Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, and The Trade Desk or other programmatic platform
  • Experience with placing and negotiating online programmatic media
  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Applied experience in working with clients; managing work, effectively communicating and collaborating
  • Highly collaborative, teaching-based approach to teamwork; must be willing to share and learn
  • A genuine curiosity for understanding the businesses of clients, the motivations of their audiences and how digital media can be creatively (yet measurably and meaningfully) leveraged to return value to clients and their customers

Knowledge And Skills Required

  • BA/BS required
  • 4-6 years digital planning experience
  • Advanced computer knowledge and experience in understanding how technology can be leveraged to improve efficiency
  • Excel experience is required; with advanced Excel skills to perform data querying, statistical analysis packages, and pivot tables being a plus
  • Experience with a third party ad server (DART/DFA preferred)
  • A constant learner; stays current on developments within digital media, analytics concepts, and optimization techniques
  • Strong writing, presentation and strategic and analytical thinking skills
  • Able to work independently and have excellent time management skills
  • Problem solver with the ability to develop creative solutions
  • Organized, and detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through
  • Comfortable with ambiguity, proactively developing solutions from partial or incomplete information
  • Nimble and flexible to succeed in a fast-paced environment and handle ad hoc requests
