Next Gear Solutions is a software and consulting company looking to grow its sales department with the right candidates for Business Development Representative positions. The position is salaried and commissioned, full-time, and located in our Lehi, UT, office.

Job Description

The Business Development Representative (BDR) calls prospective customers to introduce the company and set appointments between the prospective client and an Inside Sales Representative (ISR). The BDR researches sales prospects online, enters and verifies customer data, and maintains a quota set by the Manager.

Qualifications

  • High-energy, self-motivated, and a hard worker
  • Excellent conversational and listening skills; clear and precise speaker with professional phone presence, able to conduct calls without a script 
  • Excellent technology skills
  • Research skills—must be an excellent “googler”
  • An upbeat and positive attitude
  • Entry-level position-- will train a passionate candidate-- however previous experience in appointment setting, sales, promotions, telemarketing or cold-calling, or marketing is given preference
  • High school degree required; Bachelors degree a plus
