As our new Automation Engineer, you become part of our Automation Controls team. Here, you join a team of creative and highly-skilled colleagues, with whom you create the software tools of tomorrow as well as keeping the product ownership of the existing technologies. 

Create the tool for our future products
You will join a smaller team within the department called 'product and tools' assigned the task of developing our new products and support tools, as well as handle the sustained engineering on our existing products. Your main focus will be software created in C# / VBA for auto-generate PLC software and hardware configuration for conveyor systems. You will work in close corroboration with colleagues working on product tools for mechanical, electrical and software engineering.

You can expect a technical "hands-on" role as our primary goal is not only to develop the tools, but also getting them implemented. This means the possibility to train our colleagues executing customer projects in the usage of the tool, giving them the best possibilities for success.

You take part in all the product development phases, from spec's trough programming, design, testing etc. and once a project for a new product has been completed, you will join a new one – always developing products at the forefront of technology. A lot of our work is unknown to the market, so you truly get to create the future.

Validate your new products
Our product development process follows the recognized V-model: from customer requirements to final validation of our systems around in the world. As an automation engineer you will have a close co-operation with our engineers validating your new products on location in which they are installed and used. As we are an international company and you train our colleagues around the globe you should expect up to 40 days of travelling activity per year.

Skilled and playful Automation Engineer

• You have good C# and VBA skills. Moreover, you have PLC programming knowledge preferably from Siemens S7 and Siemens TIA.
• You have SQL database knowledge.  
• You probably have a few years of experience however, most important is your interest and skills with the technical area.
• You speak and write Danish and English fluently.
• If you have other competencies, we would also like to hear from you. Maybe you have that special something that we did not now we were in need of. And we do not know what tomorrow will bring.

You enjoy sharing your knowledge and discussing the best solution with your colleagues, and you actively seek their advice and encourage them to come to you with the best result. Also, you have a playful spirit and enjoy finding solutions to solve complex challenges.
