Job Description

Location: Pensacola, FL

Position Type: Full-Time, Hourly (Non-Exempt)

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the monthly close process for the operating entity
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements on an accrual basis (or other basis of accounting as directed by management) for internal and external use
  • Maintain proper accounting policies and procedures developed by Management
  • Maintain all accounts payable and accounts receivable functions with accuracy
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and future projections
  • Prepare ad hoc reports/projects, as requested by the executive team
  • Properly maintain cash receipts, bank deposits, bank transfers, bank wires, and cash balance
  • Reconcile Monthly Credit Card accounts
  • Maintain records in preparation for future external audit/review
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business
  • 3+ years related accounting experience
  • Proficient with MS Office, Quickbooks, and Computer Operation
  • Knowledge of Accounting Principles and the Accrual Basis
