Evergreen Center, a growing, world-class human services organization serving students with autism and intellectual and developmental disabilities, is searching for a Behavioral Education Treatment Director.  The Evergreen Center provides living and learning environments for persons diagnosed with various developmental and intellectual disabilities, including autism, physical impairments, neurocognitive disorders, and behavior disorders.

The Behavioral Education Treatment Director (BETD) is a dynamic position for an accomplished behavior analyst with a diverse background.  The position reports to the Chief Clinical Officer, and is responsible for developing staff training materials (e.g., training manuals, guided notes, etc., for individual training modules, multimedia presentations, problem-based learning activities) and for supervising clinical supports for students requiring advanced treatment techniques. The BETD is also responsible for conducting educational/treatment/vocational research and supervising research performed by others.  This position will also have the opportunity to participate as faculty in Evergreen Center’s university partnership graduate education programs.

Doctorate (Ed.D., Ph.D., Psy.D) in applied behavior analysis, special education, psychology, or related field, and experience with applied behavior analysis in a direct service, training and/or school-based consultation capacity.  Experience in a Residential Treatment setting is preferred.   Comprehensive knowledge of ABA, instructional design, curriculum, and assessment methodologies.  Experience with professional adult education, including experience as an instructor at the higher education level.  At least five years’ experience in the field, two years of which must reflect administrative experience. Board certification as behavior analyst (BCBA).
