ABOUT K-12 CONTENT DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Uncommon will be widely recognized as one of the top-performing CMOs in the country, in large part because of our ability to support the professional growth of our teachers and leaders.  The Home Office's K-12 Content Development Team’s purpose is to identify, codify, and disseminate best instructional practices to all of our schools. We will continue to develop distinctive knowledge about how to teach and lead in ways that make a difference in students’ learning. 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
The Operations Coordinator is a key role that supports the K-12 Content Development Team through operations and administrative support:

  • Coordinate all logistics for annual high stakes retreats and professional development
    • Craft and scaffold communication with extreme attention to detail
    • Search and secure venues and meeting spaces and ensure all equipment and AV are set-up
    • Prepare and distribute all session materials including the presenter’s materials, agenda, participant lists, and invitations
    • Execute all day-of logistics and ensure plans are carried out smoothly and efficiently, including day of ops-support, registration, and travel/hotel arrangements.
    • Engage in deep levels of reflection following all events
    • Sweat the details in the preparation process to ensure all events run as smoothly as possible
  • Perform general clerical duties, including, but not limited to, photocopying, faxing, mailing, filing, preparation of expense reimbursements, and maintaining contact lists
  • Process credit card reconciliations
  • Engaging in “all hands” needs from the team, including logistics and operations for cross-regional Professional Developments
  • Other projects as needed

  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, to be adaptable to various competing demands, and to demonstrate the highest level of service and responsibility.
MINIMUM
  • Bachelors Degree
  • While this position will be based in our Manhattan Home Office, it will require frequent to Newark and potentially Brooklyn
