Job Summary:

Work as part of program management team to provide technical program leadership/supervision to assigned programs by organizing project and task workloads within budget and schedule guidelines.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide consistent communication and regular presence at user sites to ensure continuity of relationship and generally maintain and ensure customer goodwill. Serve as primary point of contact, answer queries from unit personnel, and collect feedback.
• Under direction of Program Manager, develop and track project schedules for government programs of record, budgets, forecasts, RMAs, and status reports; participate and help author Statements of Work and responses to RFPs as necessary; assist in maintaining and updating customer database, contacts, and records.
• Ensure successful overall program performance within budgetary and schedule guidelines, including establishing budgets and forecasting manpower, equipment, and supply needs. Assume ultimate responsibility for delivery/contract compliance status.
• Determine level of product adoption and track program changes that affect GATR.
• Determine operational proficiency and schedule retraining as needed.
• Communicate information on program updates, plan GATR attendance and presentations at product team meetings; advocate for product changes between customer and GATR Engineering.
• Work with customer’s unit leadership to secure quotes for needed parts and training, project upcoming year purchases, and facilitate contracting for funds.
• Maintain lists of leadership and key operators at each command/unit. Participate in key in-process reviews, planning meetings, and conferences to help position product and obtain contact information for potential commands.
  

Credentials and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or Engineering
• At least 5 years’ experience in SATCOM, networking, or engineering development projects
• PMP Certification preferred
  

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to use Microsoft Office software, including Microsoft Project, as well as learn new software packages. Database experience is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to represent the company on site and present the product positively and with confidence during all aspects of implementation
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives without supervision
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment, communicating with all levels of production and management chains 
• SATCOM experience preferred 
• Networking experience preferred
