We are seeking a Warehouse/Site Support person to support our branch and branch operations in Portland, OR.  This position entails working in our warehouse at the branch in Portland, as well as taking care of our customer's inventory needs on-site with the customer.

It is the responsibility of the Warehouse/Site Support person to work as a responsible member of their branch team to maximize sales and gross margin potential for the company, while observing the principals stated in Stellar’s Mission Statement and Vision as well as follow all of the customer’s on-site guidelines.  

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

More specifically, it is the responsibility of the Warehouse/Site Support to:

1) Accurately and efficiently pick, pack and process customer orders and transfers:

a) Understand basic P21 Order Entry and Transfer entry functions

b) Use the P21 system and WWMS (Wireless Warehouse Management Solution) to accurately pick customer orders and transfers

c) Pack orders and transfers properly for shipping, with appropriate paperwork and labeling

d) Accurately prepare and ship orders using P21 and UPS system, recording shipments properly and shipping using instructions from order

e) Perform all above tasks while meeting the company standards for safety and security

2) Accurately receive, put away and cycle count inventory:

a) Understand basic P21 PO Entry function

b) Use P21 and WWMS to accurately record receipt of PO and transfer items in a timely fashion on the same day that it arrives

c) Process any problem shipments timely and accurately, communicating immediately with the proper departments, including but not limited to:

i) Freight claims

ii) Supplier short shipments or damaged shipments

d) Accurately put stock away in a timely and quick manner in appropriate, assigned warehouse locations

e) Perform accurate and timely cycle counts based on branch commitment to 100% count 2X annually

f) Perform all above tasks while meeting the company standards for safety and security

3) Proficiently and efficiently handle the warehouse and inventory functions on-site to meet or exceed customer expectations:

a) Learn and understand how to use the CribMaster and/or Supply Pro systems and processes as well as Stellar’s Hand Held Bin Management system (HHBM)

b) Stock and maintain inventory levels on-site per customer contract

4) Follow all customer guidelines and procedures as it pertains to your position

a) Follow all on-site safety and emergency procedures

b) Stay current on all required training and certifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
  
• Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record
• Basic knowledge of math
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel
• Must be able to operate a forklift
• Requires standing, stooping, reaching and walking for continuous periods of time
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work with your hands and arms
• Basic understanding of Lean concepts and 5S strategies
