We are a warehouse located in Akron, OH seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager. This position is responsible for the safety and security, OSHA compliance, fleet safety compliance and management, training, order processing, inventory and facilities management, expense management, and daily business operations. In addition, this position serves as the key liaison between warehouse location and Finance, HR, and Division Management.

Key responsibilities include:

• Manage the warehouse facility, including production, daily operations, safety local compliance.
• Manage costs and vendors through relationships, communication, and knowledge development.
• Deliver product to customers on time and without error, utilizing schedules and proactive outreach.
• Manage accurate and relevant product inventory.
• Use our ERP system to process orders through the warehouse and route to the customer.
• Ensure that KPI metrics are kept for delivery.
• Create a culture of safety via a behavior-based safety program.
• Ensure all personnel are trained to OSHA compliance standards.
• Ensure all vehicles and drivers are compliant with OSHA and company safety standards.
• Ensure that PMs and repairs are completed on fleet.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Education/Experience:

• 5 years of experience in managing a high-volume, high-touch customer service department
• 3 or more years of staff management and leadership
• Experience managing inside and outside sales teams
• Knowledge of fleet management/trucking/dispatching
• Experience providing exceptional customer service to business customers
• Demonstrated experience with computers and various software to manage warehouse operations and inventory
